ECS Week - Spring 2025
Coinciding with National Engineer Week nationwide, the College of Engineering and Computer Science will be hosting its "ECS Week". Throughout the week, ECS will host a variety of events for our community of students, faculty, and staff to network and engage with one another. We hope to see you at our events!
Tea with a Teacher - Monday, February 17th
Meet and talk with Electrical & Electronic Engineering Professor Neal Levine.
Time: 2 - 3 pm

Tea with Teachers - Tuesday, February 18th
Meet and talk with Construction Management and Civil Engineering professors.
Location: TEB 1217
3 - 4 pm: Construction Management - Dr. Mohammed Alsharqawi & Dr. Jason Miller
4 - 5 pm: Civil Engineering - Dr. Maria Jose Echeverria & Dr. Amy Wyman
ECS Welcome Event & BBQ, Wednesday, February 19th
This event will be a wonderful opportunity to welcome new and returning students, connect with ECS student clubs and organizations, and showcase the services offered by the ECS Student Success Center. Please RSVP if you wish to attend. This event is open to ECS students, faculty, and staff only.
Time: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

ASCE Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day - Thursday, February 20th
This event is for young girls interested in the engineering field. They can learn about STEM, participate in activities, and discover more about the field. Hosted by the ECS American Society of Civil Engineers club.
Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: University Union Cottonwood Suite
ECS Internship and Career Fair - Friday, February 21st
Visit the University Union Ballroom between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to meet with employers and learn about their companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for job searching and securing a job.
Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
